Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)
- 3 tablespoons Spice Rack Co's Better Burger seasoning
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- 4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Red onion slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise as desired
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or prepare a grill pan on the stove.
- In a large bowl, gently mix the ground beef with the Better Burger seasoning until well combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties slightly larger than your buns.
- Create a dimple in the center of each patty to prevent puffing up during cooking.
- Grill the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and continue grilling for another 3 minutes for medium-rare. If you prefer a more well-done burger, cook for an additional minute or two per side.
- Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of grilling to melt.
- Build the burger by starting with the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, tomato, the cheesy burger patty, red onion, pickles, and your choice of condiments. Cap with the top bun.
- Serve immediately with a side of seasoned fries or a fresh salad.
