Classic Grilled "Savoury Steak"

Ingredients:

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks, about 1-inch thick
  • 2-3 tablespoons of Spice Rack Co's Savoury Steak rub
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to taste (if not included in the rub)

Instructions:

  1. Take the steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to high heat.
  3. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Brush them lightly with olive oil on both sides.
  4. Season the steaks generously with the Savoury Steak rub. Gently press the seasoning into the meat.
  5. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach the desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
  7. Serve with a side of grilled asparagus and a baked potato.
