Ingredients:
- 4-5 pounds pork shoulder (also known as pork butt)
- ¼ cup Spice Rack Co's Backyard BBQ seasoning
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Your favorite BBQ sauce for serving
- Hamburger buns for serving
- Coleslaw for serving
Instructions:
- Rub the pork shoulder all over with the Backyard BBQ seasoning.
- In a large slow cooker, mix the apple cider vinegar, water, Worcestershire sauce, honey or brown sugar, and minced garlic.
- Place the seasoned pork into the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the pork is very tender and shreds easily with a fork.
- Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred the meat using two forks.
- Skim off any excess fat from the juices left in the slow cooker.
- Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the juices.
- Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns, topped with your favorite BBQ sauce and coleslaw.
